First Look : 2011 Dodge Durango

Dodge debuted pictures and inofrmation about the all new 2011 Dodge Durango today. Mostly confirming what has already been heard; the car will be built along side the new Jeep Grand Cherokee at the Jeffereson North Assembly Plant. The Durango will feature both the new 3.6l V6 that will tow up to 6,200lbs and the 5.7l HEMI that will tow around 7,800lbs and offer both a RWD and an AWD option. The Durango will differ from the 2011 Cherokee in that it will offer a third-row seat for passenger occupancy of 7. The Durango will feature new trim packages including “Citadel” “Heat” “Express” and “Crew”.

The bold new look shows the future of Dodge design and features the new logo that will differentiate the brand from, the now separate, Ram brand. I think the styling is worlds better that the last generation of Durango, which in my opinion, was one of the most ugly SUV’s to ever have existed. Let me know what you guys think in the comments.
